Former WWE announcer Todd Grisham clarified on Twitter late Monday night that he will not be at Sunday's WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view in Brooklyn. Grisham parted ways with the company back in 2011 and immediately took a job with ESPN, moving his way up the network over the last four years.
As noted, ESPN will be live in New York this weekend with a special edition of SportsCenter, which will include former WWE broadcaster Jonathan Coachman. "The Coach" has been petitioning for quite some time via social media to bring the two titans back together, following a successful media blitz for this year's WrestleMania season.
To those asking, no I won't be at Summerslam. Once again @TheCoachESPN has to hog all the spotlight.— Todd Grisham (@GrishamESPN) August 18, 2015
