Total Divas Recap: Nikki And Brie's New Business, Eva Marie's Training, Naomi, More
Last week: Nattie learned that lying was bad. This week: Go-Karting, spoiled children and exercise studios.
The Bellas are having a family meeting with their mother and brother. Nikki and Brie have a new business venture in mind. The ladies want to run an environmentally friendly bar/studio/fitness club thingy. The details are a bit vague. Apparently, "The Bella Army" demands it. (Did they? I find this claim dubious.)
Brie want her mom to run it while they're on the road. She tells JJ, their brother, he can be an investor too. Then Nikki gets annoyed because the environmentally friendly bar/studio/fitness club thingy was meant to their project. Not JJ's. Poor JJ. Now he might not get the chance to sink his hard-earned money into an obviously doomed business venture.
We see Brian Kendrick again. He's got Eva watching wrestling videos on YouTube. Apparently , she didnt know until now that there was wrestling on Youtube. She sees the notoriousy gruesome spot from WCW where Sid badly broke his leg after botching a move from the top rope. Poor Eva. Nothing good ever came out of watching Sid's matches. Mr. Eva can see she's freaking out and tells her not to watch it. I wonder if Brian and Mr. Eva are going to have words now.
Alicia Fox, wearing an absolutely horrible dress, watches some taps of Eva in training and complains about how she's working with a guy when she should be training with a woman like the other divas do. OK, so first the other divas got mad at her for being a model who didn't want to train and was just coasting on her looks...and now they're mad because she's training too much and not in a way they approve of?
Later on, Eva is viciously booed and jeered by the crowd and they yell "You can't wrestle!" Even though she's actually gotten significantly better as a performer. They're all just jealous of her fantastic red hair and perfect storybook marriage to Mr. Eva, obviously. Things on a happier note for her, though, when she finally decides to use The Kendrick as her finisher.
The Bellas are still arguing over the club as they have their weekly pedicures. It gets pretty vicious, with Nikki accusing Brie of not wanting to listen to her ideas. I'm still sort of curious as to where the money for this studio is going to from. Maybe they could ask Vince McMahon? As we've seen with the WBF, the XFL, SmackDown Records, WWE Studios and Linda's Senate runs, he obviously likes throwing money at business projects more doomed than a Spinal Tap drummer.
Later, the Bellas make up with the help of some wine and the diplomatic skills of JJ. Honestly, these two bicker and argue so much the idea of them spending even more time together to run a business doesn't sound like a good one.
In a subplot, Naomi is determined to bond with her step-children, so she rents them a bounce house. I want to be so rich I can just get a bounce house whenever I want. Jimmy ends up trying it out. He's not too old for it. No one is ever too old for a bounce house. Later on, Naomi hires a petting zoo and a mini-van. Then they all go Go-Karting.
OK, honey, you're trying way too hard. Later, Jessica?the children's mother?gets disgruntled. Well, duh. She knows the only way she can top all this stuff is to take them to Hogwarts or something.
After a talk with Jon, Naomi realizes she's spoiling them too much?it somehow took her an entire episode to learn this?and she resolves to be a more "balanced" mother. Maybe she should send them to work in Nikki and Brie's exercise studio? Or force them to watch Rosa Mendes' matches as a punishment for doing things wrong?
Next week: Dolph tries to steal Nikki from Cena. I bet he doesn't really have romantic feelings and is just using her to get a free membership to the environmentally friendly bar/studio/ fitness club thingy
