Why Police Were Called To The WWE Performance Center Earlier Today, What Led To Shooting
- As noted, a man was shot by an Orange County deputy at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando this afternoon.
According to MyNews13.com, sheriffs say deputies responded to the Performance Center for a trespassing call. It was noted earlier that this person was previously arrested at the location and Triple H noted that the man was not supposed to be there.
Sheriffs said and there was some sort of altercation and the deputy felt he needed to draw his weapon and fire at the man. We're still waiting on the man's identity and his condition as an ambulance took him to the Orlando Regional Medical Center. Mike is currently waiting on live updates from a press conference and we'll have more information then.
UPDATE: More Details on the WWE Performance Center Shooting from Sheriffs Press Conference
Here are Triple H's comments on the matter:
"Unfortunately a deranged individual with no WWE affiliation, who had a court order prohibiting him from being on WWE property was involved in an incident with an Orange County Sherriff's deputy in the parking lot of the WWE Performance Center. We defer to the Orange County Sherriff's department for further comment and information."
