WWE Superstars Recap (8/28): Tag Champion Joins Commentary, Zack Ryder Picks Up A Win, Torito Cheats

Welcome to Wrestling Inc's coverage of WWE Superstars! WWE Tag Team Champion Xavier Woods will be joining the commentary team on tonight's show.

Zack Ryder vs. Heath Slater

Ryder and Slater trade holds until Ryder lands a big flapjack. Slater gets mad and lands a cheap shot. Heath attacks Ryder, landing several punches before applying a headlock. After a couple of minutes, Ryder fights out and hits a big neckbreaker. Ryder scores a dropkick, Broski Boot and Rough Ryder for the win.

Winner: Zack Ryder via pinfall (Rough Ryder)

The Ascension vs. Los Matadores (w/ Torito)

Diego starts out with some early offense, but quickly gets grounded by Conor, who applies a headlock. Diego teases getting out, but keeps getting cut off and double teamed by the Ascension, who are brutalizing him.

Finally Fernando gets the hot tag and dominates Viktor. He gets a two on Viktor, but Conor breaks it up. Diego then gets taken out at ringside, and Torito does a huge diving senton onto Conor. No DQ, I guess. Fernando with a backstabber for the win.

Winners: Los Matadores via pinfall (Backstabber)

Xavier Woods is going off about Torito cheating. Woods was pretty good on commentary for this show.
