Former OVW Manager Says John Cena Owes Him For Making Sure He Wasn't Fired, Calls Vince An Idiot

Former OVW manager Kenny Bolin spoke to legendary wrestling journalist Bill Apter this week about his time in Ohio Valley Wrestling, and specifically John Cena.

Bolin told Apter that he was angry because Cena hasn't come to see him or offered to help him financially.

"He's got me so mad lately, because there have been times I've been in the hospital, and not one time has he came to see me. I've had financial stress, trying to take care of my son after a couple of serious car wrecks he's been in. Other struggles, like getting his wife legal in the United States," Bolin said.

Bolin then claimed that the only reason John Cena kept his WWE developmental deal was because Bolin stepped up and personally vouched for him.

"They wanted to fire him and Rico Constantino. I went to Danny Davis and Jim Cornette. I had a meeting with Steve Austin, Vince McMahon and Stephanie McMahon. I told them they had 80 days left on their contract, and we needed to put them on the road and see what they're made of. They both got jobs. Look who's the face of the company now," Bolin said "I didn't like to brag about it, I'm the guy that got him his free meals and publicity when he was here."

Bolin said that being involved with him or against him was a ticket to the WWE, and subsequently called Vince McMahon an idiot.

"Vince McMahon is recorded on John Cena's My Life DVD saying he didn't think Cena had what it took. I'm also recorded on that same DVD saying in do many words Vince McMahon is an idiot, and I saw talent in him from day one," Bolin said.

Bolin is somewhat of a controversial character. Jim Cornette once said that Kenny Bolin would make money by purchasing meat at one Kroger in the Kentucky area, and then returning it to another area Kroger to benefit from their "double price return guarantee."
