Natalya Talks Not Being Part Of The Divas Revolution, Triple H, What Her WrestleMania Moment Is

Recently, on Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast, Natalya Neidhart called her match against Charlotte last May her WrestleMania moment and discussed not being a part of the Divas Revolution.

According to Natalya, her match against Charlotte at NXT Takeover was her WrestleMania moment, even though the small NXT crowd is a far cry from a sold out WrestleMania audience.

"I've grown up around wrestling my entire life and I never thought that a match in front of 400 people, a match at Full Sail University, in front of 400 people, would be one of the highlights of my career."

Despite that, Natalya has such high regard for the match because it "really embodied everything I wanted it to as far as my career and just telling a story." Natalya stated that she trained for that match as though she was training for the fight of her life, as she began training months in advance. Also, Natalya credited Triple H for giving her the opportunity to perform without any restrictions.

"Triple H, actually, gave me the opportunity to have the match and basically the freedom to create and to do everything that I wanted to do, everything that I did when I was in Japan." Natalya added, "Triple H gave me the freedom to create and invent and to have no limitations because, for a long time, I'm not afraid to say it, for a long time, Nattie was looked at in WWE by the powers that be [as] maybe too wrestlery."

As for why Natalya has not been including in the Divas Revolution storyline, she said it really is the elephant in the room and that she has no idea why she has not been involved in the storyline.

"To be honest, I don't know why I'm not included in this. I don't have an answer. I really don't. And your guess is as good as mine."

Although Natalya has faith that she will be brought into the mix once Charlotte, Sasha Banks, and Becky Lynch are established characters on the main roster, watching the Divas Revolution from the sidelines has been difficult. Natalya even brought her sister with her for moral support during Summerslam weekend.

"There was a part of me where I was like, 'I'm going to have a hard time watching all of the girls compete and not being a part of it' and I feel like there is so much of me that is wanting to be a part of it." Natalya said. "I just have to trust in the powers that be. I have to trust in the universe. And right now is not my time and I'll just help everybody celebrate their time and be supportive of them because one day it will be my time".

In addition to addressing these topics, Natalya talked about cats and whether she believes Ronda Rousey could beat Floyd Mayweather in a fight. To listen to the podcast in its entirety, click here.
