Roman Reigns Talks Dream Match With The Rock, Favorite Matches, Kevin Owens, Headlining WrestleMania

Recently, Roman Reigns participated in a Q&A session at Wizard World Comic Con in San Jose, CA. In addition to talking about his dream match, Reigns shared his thoughts on his WrestleMania 31 match against Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Reigns stated that his dream match would be against the Rock for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

"If you're going to pick one, he's [Rock] the dude." Reigns said. "I think it would have to be a very big match, not just a regular match. There would have to be a title, something that we are trying to win. That way you have true competition, not just between each other, but for something. And I think the WWE Championship would be the best thing to put that on the line for."

When asked what kind of stipulation he would like for his dream match, Reigns said that all he knows for sure is that he would not want it to be a ladder match.

"I don't like those. I'm all for toys and hitting and getting hit with stuff, but I just do not like ladders for whatever reason. I'd rather just beat the guy on the mat than climb up [a ladder]."

Reigns said he would also like to face Triple H and Kevin Owens.

"I've been in a couple of tag matches against Triple H. I would love to have a singles match with him. Let's go completely different ends of the spectrum. I'll fight Triple H or Kevin Owens."

As for his favorite matches, Reigns said that his match against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 31 was one of his favorite matches and also the hardest match he has ever had, although Reigns's own father would beat him worse than Lesnar did.

Reigns called Rollins cashing in his Money In The Bank briefcase a culmination of many things, and while losing was not ideal, he feels very blessed and fortunate to have main evented WrestleMania.

"It's something I will cherish for the rest of my life. If I never get another opportunity [to main event WrestleMania], deep down in my heart, I know that I did my thing, I represented, and I just hope that everybody sees that".

Another one of Reigns's favorite matches was his last man standing match at Extreme Rules 2015 against the Big Show.

"[Big Show] is just a humungous person, so it's really cool when you meet someone so unique and you get to wrestle him and learn from him and work with him. I really enjoyed being able to wrestle the Big Show."
