TNA Airing On Destination America In October?

TNA's official website has Impact Wrestling airing on Destination America on Wednesday, October 7th, days after the Bound For Glory pay-per-view. It should be noted that it is listed as a new episode.

There is no TNA television taping between Bound For Glory and that show, so any matches that air will have been taped prior to the pay-per-view. TNA does have five live events scheduled before Bound For Glory, so it could be possible that the October 7th episode will feature matches from those house shows.

The last set of Impact Wrestling tapings was in July, which set up the top matches for Bound For Glory. TNA currently has no other television tapings scheduled this year.

Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer first reported in May that Destination America had canceled TNA effective the end of September. It was noted that the main issue has been the cost of programming and advertising rates, as many regular sponsors on the station did not want to advertise on TNA programming. TNA officials denied the report, although the last set of Impact tapings ran through the end of September and there is nothing on the schedule for the rest of the year. F4WOnline did recently report that TNA was negotiating to schedule a set of tapings in India for late November.
