Becky Lynch Says The NXT TakeOver Main Event Changed The World, Says Main Roster Women Will Too

Becky Lynch appears to be lost in the shuffle a bit with WWE's main roster "Divas Revolution," having no singles matches since August, but she was an important cog in NXT's growth, especially the Women's division. She spoke to WWE.com about Wednesday night's main event.

"It's an unbelievable moment, because this is what you grow up dreaming about and hasn't happened before. To see it done by two people that I'm close with and respect so much and inspire me, it's incredible. To train with them and work with them, it's an incredible time for anybody coming up in wrestling, especially women," Lynch said.

Lynch, who noted she sat next to Stephanie McMahon, said she kept looking at the clock and didn't want the Iron Man Match main event to end.

"I don't think it's just good for wrestling, I think it's good for the world. As far as I'm concerned, what they just did, they changed the world. They just showed that women belong in the main event. That's going to continue on to the main roster, too, " said Becky.
