- VikingsTerritory.com has an article about WWE being interested in former Minnesota Vikings tackle Babatunde Aiyegbusi. WWE began showing interest in the 6'9" Polish athlete before his release from the NFL team. "Babs" and his agent Adam Bair were eventually put in touch with WWE Vice President of Talent Acquisition Canyon Ceman after an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel. Bair said Babs impressed officials at a WWE tryout camp and commented:
"They loved his size and athletic ability. They were also very impressed with his character. Babs has a very witty personality when he relaxes, and [he's] funny. On top of that, he looks mean because of his size. They like the fact that he could play either role?the villain or the good guy."
Babs also commented on possibly joining WWE:
"I think my personality and work ethic will help me to become [the] next WWE Superstar. I always loved to watch wrestling; now I will have the opportunity to enjoy being [in] the ring."
