Backstage Update On Randy Orton Possibly Needing Surgery, Chances For WWE WrestleMania 32
- As noted, WWE announced that Randy Orton could be out of action for 4-6 months if he needs to have shoulder surgery, which should be determined soon, if they haven't decided already.
Orton will most likely end up undergoing the surgery. Orton was told that he will continue to dislocate the shoulder easily if he does not have the operation. If Orton has the surgery, he still has a chance at making WrestleMania 32 but if they put the surgery off, they're taking a big risk.
Orton has suffered from chronic shoulder problems throughout his career but recently dislocated it while taking out the trash at home. A MRI then revealed a Bankart lesion in Orton's shoulder, stretched ligaments and a partially torn rotator cuff.
