Dudley Boyz On Who They Want In A TLC Match At WrestleMania 32, Current WWE Run Being Their Last

The Dudley Boyz recently spoke with talkSPORT's Gorilla Nation podcast. They commented on working a possible TLC match at WrestleMania 32. Bubba Ray Dudley said:

"It's such a double-edged sword. How, when it comes to a TLC match, for me and D-Von – how can you possibly top anything we've done before? I mean, our TLC matches are talked about in wrestling circles as some of the best wrestling matches in Wrestlemania history. So if we can't top it, I'm not sure we want to do it. However, if we had the right guys to do it with, we could probably come close to topping it. Being older, smarter and better storytellers, we might be able to pull out a TLC match with more of an in-depth story than some of the other matches."

Devon said The Usos and WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day are who they'd want to face out of the current WWE roster, if they were to do another TLC match. Bubba added:

"Asking us right now we'd go for New Day and the Usos. You have to have such chemistry with the other guys you're in there with where you know what they're thinking, they know what we're thinking, we all know what the match is backwards and forwards. I'm a little bit old school so I don't pull back the curtain too much, but if you really, really knew what goes on a TLC match behind the curtains, you'd be shocked.

When people talk about the most difficult match and most dangerous match, try putting together a TLC match with three teams. I don't want to screw up the legacy. if you did the nostalgia match, that's a big deal. Doing it with other teams would be really cool, just as long as we can top what we did and even better help make another team. That would really be the important thing. Having the Dudleyz in the match is cool but if another team like the New Day or the Usos could come out of that match and be higher on the card and elevate themselves, then that'd be a job well done."

Devon continued and commented on their current WWE run:

"Wrestlemania is almost six months away so we've got time. We'll see what happens. We knew that coming back this was going to be our last hurrah. And of course, knowing that, we have to go out with a bang. We are going to go out and have as much fun as we possibly can and put as many people as we possibly can through a table. We're going to take over from where we left off ten years ago."
