Four Indie Stars Brought Back For WWE NXT TV Tapings, Did Austin Aries And Gunner Wrestle?

- Indie wrestlers Corey Hollis and John Skyler, who lost to WWE NXT Tag Team Champions The Mechanics on this week's episode, were back in action at tonight's NXT TV tapings. They will face Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady on the December 9th NXT episode.

- Indie women's wrestler Deonna Purrazzo also returned for tonight's NXT TV tapings and will face Asuka on the December 9th episode. Deonna lost to Nia Jax on the November 11th episode.

- Tommaso Ciampa was also brought back for these NXT TV tapings. He faces Samoa Joe on the December 2nd episode in what was said to be a violent, hard-hitting match.

- For those wondering, former TNA stars Gunner and Austin Aries did not work tonight's WWE NXT tapings. As noted, the two were backstage and did have their gear, so it's possible they worked a tryout for officials.
