Triple H On Hulk Hogan Returning To WWE, Internet Criticism, How Challenging This Year Has Been

Recently, Triple H called into Greg and the Morning Buzz and discussed Hulk Hogan's departure from WWE and whether the Hulkster will ever be brought back to the company. While Triple H admitted that 2015 has been a challenging year, he said it is no different than any other.

Triple H stated that he hopes there is a day when Hogan will be welcomed back to the fold.

"For me, I hope so. It's about reinvigorating his brand and him as a human being and the confidence within the world, as to who he is. But the one thing about people in general is when somebody's on top, they want to see them fall, and when they fall, they want to see them make that comeback. They're great stories. And I think that's where people are and do I think he can be forgiven and make amends with the world and move forward? Yeah! Absolutely, but at the same point and time, for us, in that timeframe, you're putting out the message of how you'll tolerate things and how you'll react to things and we did what we needed to do and he [has] got to do what he needs to do to get himself back to that point."

According to Triple H, although the Hogan scandal and the rampant injuries within the company have been difficult, this year has not been any more challenging than any other year.

"There [have] been a lot of things [that have] happened, but there's always something. There's always something that's happening or some injuries and it feels like sometimes it's just like it's the worst time and it's all at once. You get the call that this guy's injured and, oh, that guy's injured and then you go for a long stretch when nothing happens and then it comes back again. To say it's different, I mean, everyday is different. There are so many factors and that's what people don't understand about this business. There are so many performers and talent and so many factors involved in everything they do that it's really just, you're floating along and it's also the beauty of what we do," Triple H explained. "Everybody sits on the internet and critiques it and criticizes it and armchair quarterbacks it and they don't have 1/100th of the information that it takes to make those decisions on a daily basis."
