UFC 193: Rousey Vs. Holm Results: Ronda Rousey Knocked Out

Welcome to Wrestling Inc's live coverage of UFC 193: Rousey vs. Holm. Tonight's show features undefeated pay-per-view juggernaut Ronda Rousey defending her Bantamweight Championship against undefeated Holly Holm. Strawweight Champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk will also take on Valerie Letourneau in a title fight, in addition to a rematch of the all-time classic heavyweight fight between Mark Hunt and Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva.

Main Card

Stefan Struve (#14) vs. Jared Rosholt
Round 1:
Rosholt swings wildly and throws an ugly kick, but can't close the distance. Struve throws a body kick, and Rosholt answers with a leg kick. Rosholt secures thed ouble leg takedown and moves to side control. Struve regains guard, but can't make anything happen.

Round 2: Rosholt comes up empty on a takedown attempt, but lands a trip shortly after. Struve regains his footing and gets taken down again. Struve connects with an upkick, but Rosholt moves to half guard. Struve works for the arm, but can't make anything happen and lands elbows.

Round 3: Struve and Rosholt trade punches, and Struve lands a couple of straights. Rosholt circling towards Struve's power hand and Struve isn't exploiting it at all. Struve shucks off a takedown and lands a knee. Struve grazes and cuts Rosholt with a head kick, then hits a front kick. Rosholt slips and eats a few strikes, but takes down Struve. They get up, and Rosholt bully pushes Struve. Struve trips Rosholt, and the round ends.

Official Result: Jared Rosholt defeated Stefan Struve (#14) via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

Jared Rosholt moves to 6-1 in the UFC, and will likely be ranked in the top 15 Monday. That wasn't a good fight, though.

Uriah Hall (#10) vs. Robert Whittaker (#14)
Round 1:
Whittaker lands a right hand a minute in. The two stay pretty active, but not much lands until a big Whittaker leg kick. Uriah flies through the air and tries to land a spin kick but gets taken down. Whittaker lands some big punches from the top. Whittaker takes Hall's back, but Hall rolls over into guard and throws an elbow.

Round 2: Hall throws a head kick, but gets punched in the eye. It was clean, but the ref stops the action. Whittaker landed with the glove, not the fingers. Hall scores a leg kick when they start back up, but comes up empty on a spinning wheel kick. Hall lands an enormous body kick, but Whittaker survives.

Round 3: Whittaker swarms early with punches, sending Hall reeling. Whittaker clinches and lands knees. Hall is wincing. Hall finally breaks free and scores a head kick, a knee, and another head kick. Two knees in the clinch, and a massive front kick. Whittaker lands more punches and clinches to end the fight. Great third round.

Official Result: Robert Whittaker (#14) defeated Uriah Hall (#10) via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28)

That's a big win for Whittaker. Uriah Hall continues to show flashes of brilliance and utter frustration.

Mark Hunt (#8) vs. Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva (#11)
Round 1:
Hunt opens with a leg kick that doesn't do much. Bigfoot scores a body kick 90 seconds in, followed by Hunt with a two punch combo. Knee to the body from Bigfoot, but he gets caught and knocked out by a series of rights by Mark Hunt.

Official Result: Mark Hunt (#8) defeated Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva (#11) via TKO (punch), Round 1, 3:41

We all kind of saw that coming. Bigfoot Silva is the one guy who probably actually needs TRT. He won't be the same without it.

UFC Women's Strawweight Championship
Joanna Jedrzejczyk (c) vs. Valerie Letourneau (#8)

Round 1: Letourneau catches a Jedrzejczyk kick and trips her to the ground, landing punches. Jedrzejczyk works her way back up, where she's clinched against the cage. Jedrzejczyk breaks free and clobbers Letourneau with a front kick. A body kick lands for Jedrzejczyk, and the two trade punches. Letourneau throws a head kick, but eats a combo

Round 2: Jedrzejczyk opens aggressive, but Letourneau isn't backing down, firing back with punches. Letourneau catches another kick, but eats punches. Letourneau uses her power advantage to push Jedrzejczyk back against the cage, but eats elbows. Jedrzejczyk throws leg kicks and strikes, almost landing at will. Letourneau is attacking with her own leg kicks, but is getting outstruck.

Round 3: Letourneau goes back to the clinch, but Jedrzejczyk breaks out. Another big head kick from Jedrzejczyk, followed by a body kick, which Valerie returns. Good straight-leg kick combo from Jedrzejczyk, and she's landing often. Letourneau lands a nice combo, but she's slowing down big time, and Jedrzejczyk is finding her groove. Jedrzejczyk has a couple of kicks caught, but nothing happens.

Round 4: Letourneau comes out aggressive, scoring a combo and a body kick. Jedrzejczyk with a 1-2-leg kick, and Letourneau returns fire. Jedrzejczyk is finding success witha big body kick, and counters Letourneau's leg kick with a straight. Letourneau moves forward with strikes, and walks right into an elbow. Jedrzejczyk is opening up on the leg of her opponent, and it's starting to change colors. Two big right hands from Jedrzejczyk ends the round.

Round 5: Huge exchange opens the round, as Letourneau probably needs a finish to win. Letourneau hits a really nice body kick following a couple of punches. Jedrzejczyk looks as fresh as she did in the first round. The two trade strikes for a couple of minutes, but Jedrzejczyk is really attacking the left leg of Letourneau. The eye of Letourneau is getting really nasty after several elbows from Jedrzejczyk. An eye poke to Jedrzejczyk causes a brief break. Jedrzejczyk alternates attacking the eye and leg of Letourneau to end the round.

Valerie Letourneau brought the fight to Joanna. This was an excellent stand up fight.

UFC Women's Bantamweight Championship
Ronda Rousey (c) vs. Holly Holm (#7)
Round 1: Rousey doesn't touch the gloves to start. Holm connects with a straight, then another, followed by a jab. Rousey lands a right and clinches. Holm breaks free and scores a kick. Rousey takedown, armbar attempt, but Holm escapes and lands punches. Holm kicks Rousey's knee several times, but eats punches in a clinch. Holm scores a straight left. Holm tags Rousey big time, but eats a big punch and takes Rousey down. Holm lets her up, but Rousey scores a knee.

Round 2: Holm is executing her gameplan perfectly. Head Kick KO! Holm wins!!!!

Official Result: Holly Holm (#8) def. Ronda Rousey (c) via KO (head kick) at :59 of R2 to win the UFC Bantamweight Championship
