Backstage Note On Rey Mysterio And Lucha Underground, Another Signing, Lucha Merchandise Deal

We noted this past weekend that Rey Mysterio has officially signed with Lucha Underground and will be debuting on season 2 in January. We had first exclusively reported last week that Mysterio had either signed with Lucha Underground, or was very close and was likely to appear at last weekend's tapings. PWInsider reports that Lucha Underground filmed a lot of material and vignettes with Rey over the weekend, and he will be heavily featured in all storylines going forward.

The promotion has also signed Joey Ryan, according to PWInsider.
