Fedor Emelianenko's Return Opponent Announced, Big Heavyweight Set To Be A Free Agent, More
- UFC has posted the full episode of UFC Road to the Octagon. The show features Donald Cerrone, Rafael dos Anjos, Junior dos Santos, Nate Diaz, Michael Johnson and Alistair Overeem, who all fight this weekend on Fox.
After months of speculation, Fedor Emelianenko's opponent will be who we actually speculated it would be months ago.
Fedor will fight kickboxer Jaideep Singh, who is 2-0 in MMA competition. The return bout for Fedor will take place at the Rizin card on New Year's Eve, to be broadcast on Spike TV. MMA Fighting's Ariel Helwani had actually reported the news in early October.
Rizin will debut with a double-shot of shows, featuring the likes of Fedor, Shinya Aoki, Bob Sapp, Kazushi Sakuraba, King Mo Lawal, Gabi Garcia, Lei'D Tapa, Akebono, and several others.
