Roman Reigns On Earning Fans Respect, Feuding With Vince McMahon, Defending On Monday's RAW, More
As seen above, this week's sitdown interview with Michael Cole features WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns. Below are highlights:
* Cole asks about resolutions for 2016 and Reigns says his main goal is to defend the title at WrestleMania 32 in the main event. Cole brings up how Reigns had a big 2015, and talks about he turned things from boos to gold. Reigns says the Royal Rumble made him stronger. It pushed him and pissed him off. Reigns says it's a different feeling to be embarrassed in front of thousands of people but it motivated him every night and made him want to get better on a whole new level. Reigns says he did get better. He says it's not easy earning the respect of a crowd every single night but that's what he's done. Reigns says if fans aren't with him in the beginning, they will respect what he does after 30 minutes in.
* Cole says Reigns has made some enemies along the way – Stephanie McMahon, Triple H and Vince McMahon. Cole asks if Reigns realizes what he's gotten into. Reigns says he did it, he went all in and it is what it is. Reigns says he fears no man in the ring because he believes in himself, he believes he can compete with anyone, but how do you compete with the Chairman? Reigns says he can't beat Vince with his fists and Vince is fighting with his mind but he can just keep doing what he does every week – wake up and try and handle everything under the sun.
* Cole brings up the first RAW main event of 2016 – Sheamus vs. Reigns with Vince as special referee. Cole asks how will Reigns win the match. Reigns says he's going to do what he always does – overcome.
