The Mirror recently caught up with Triple H to discuss NXT's ongoing UK tour, which includes the NXT TakeOver: London special event on December 16 at Wembley Arena in London, England. The tour is NXT's first ever international tour and NXT TakeOver: London, which will air live on the WWE Network, will be WWE's first special event emanating from the UK since 2003's Insurrextion pay-per-view.
While Triple H did not travel to the UK with the NXT crew and performers for the start of the tour, he will be in attendance for NXT TakeOver: London, which will be headlined by Finn Bálor versus Samoa Joe for the NXT Championship.
Triple H indicated that the tour presents the NXT performers with the opportunity to work in front of different crowds that are interested in different styles. Triple H suggested that having to change things on the fly and gaining experience will make the NXT talent better performers in the future.
"That opportunity to go and work in front of different crowds that like different styles and the thing that you used to do here doesn't work over there, or works better, you know, you've got to be able to learn and evolve on the fly." Triple H added, "it's eye-opening to them, that they all of a sudden have to work a totally different way and tell a totally different story to get these fans involved. Everybody that has the chance to go and have that experience will be a much better performer down the line for us."
The remaining tour dates are as follows:
December 11: Glasgow, Scotland
December 12: Sheffield, England
December 13: Blackpool, England
December 14: Nottingham, England
December 15: Cardiff, Wales
December 16: London, England
