UFC Rankings Mayhem, Champion Signs Huge Contract Extension, Another Big UFC Card Saturday, More

- All of the fights this past weekend caused total mayhem in the official UFC rankings, and caused a new number one pound-for-pound fighter.

Demetrious "Mighty Mouse" Johnson was the beneficiary of Jose Aldo's UFC 194 loss, moving up to #1 in the P4P spot. By all means Jon Jones will likely retake the spot, as he was recently reinstated to the rankings following a suspension. Aldo fell to #6, Chris Weidman fell 8 spots to #11, while Conor McGregor leaped 9 spots to #3, and Luke Rockhold debuted at #9.

Michael Chiesa earned a much-deserved spot in the top 15 lightweight rankings at number 14, and Tony Ferguson moved up two spots to number 5. Gunnar Nelson dropped 2 spots in the Welterweight top-15 down to 14, while his opponent Demian Maia moved up a spot and cracked the top 5. Several fighters in the Middleweight and Strawweight classes also exchanged spots. You can see the full rankings at this link.

- UFC Heavyweight Champion Fabricio Werdum signed a huge extension with the UFC this week, keeping him locked up for another 8 fights.

- If you thought the UFC's crazy ride of big fights was over for the year, you'd be wrong. This Saturday, the company will air a Fox card which features a Lightweight title fight between champion Rafael dos Anjos defending in a rematch against Donald Cerrone. Junior dos Santos, Alistair Overeem and Nate Diaz are also set for the show. Wrestling Inc will have a report on the show after it airs.
