WWE NXT Recap (12/2): Samoa Joe Vs. Tommaso Ciampa, Several London Matches Set, Gable & Jordan, More

Welcome to Wrestling Inc's coverage of WWE NXT. Tonight's show features a main event between Samoa Joe and Tomasso Ciampa.

Baron Corbin vs. Tye Dillinger

Corbin punches Dillinger, before stalking him around the ring. Corbin runs into the turnbuckle, allowing Dillinger to hit some chops and a Thesz Press, before a superkick gets two. Dillinger comes off the second rope and gets caught with End of Days. Corbin wins.

Winner: Baron Corbin via pinfall (End of Days)

- Apollo Crews is backstage, where he's told that he and Balor will face Corbin and Joe next week. He says he's worried about Balor's condition, but they'll get their hands on Joe & Corbin.

- Backstage, Tommaso Ciampa says he's known Joe a long time, but he's changed. He knows nobody believes he'll win tonight, but he's going to change everything.

Nia Jax vs. Blue Pants

Blue Pants, who has a new theme eats a big clothesline from Jax right off the bat. Jax then slings Blue Pants around the ring twice by her head. An over-the-shoulder rib crusher sets up an elbow drop and a Samoan drop and a leg drop for the win. Nia pins Blue Pants with one foot.

Winner: Nia Jax via pinfall (leg drop)

- Dash and Dawson are backstage and say they're moving on from the Vaudevillians, and they don't have respect for Enzo and Cass. Tom Phillips says Enzo and Cass will get a title shot in London. Dash says that flying back home with a broken leg isn't something Cass wants to do.

James Storm vs. Adam Rose

Storm drops Rose with a punch, but Rose knocks him down and works over Storm's head. Storm is tossed over the rope, but skins the cat and clotheslines Rose. The Goodnight neckbreaker sets up the Last Call for the pin.

Winner: James Storm via pinfall (Last Call)

- The Vaudevillains are backstage and say they'll beat Gable & Jordan. Their opponents show up and put themselves over, and say they'll become tag champions. The two teams shake hands.

The Vaudevillains vs. Chad Gable & Jason Jordan

Gotch and Gable have a fantastic chain series which sees Gotch apply an armbar before Gable gets the better of it. Both men tag out, but Jordan repeatedly take English down. English answers with a Japanese arm drag before posing and getting tossed with a dragon screw leg whip. Gable then gets sent flying to the outside by English after a tag.

Gable uses a catch wrestling arm drag and makes the hot tag to Jordan, who Gores Gotch in the corner. Grand Amplitude gets the win for Jordan and Gable. Big win for them.

Winners: Chad Gable & Jason Jordan via pinfall (Grand Amplitude)

The Vaudevillains refuse to shake hands after the match.

- Emma and Dana Brooke are backstage, and Dana goes off about Asuka. Emma tells Dana to calm down, and that she needs to stay in the back for her match tonight.

- We see a new Elias Samson vignette.


Emma vs. Liv Morgan

Emma beats down Morgan in the corner before hitting the Emma Sandwich. Liv fights back with a guillotine suplex and a dropkick, but Emma bridges out of the pin. Gutwrench suplex, old-school curb stomp and Emma Lock get it done.

Winner: Emma via submission (Emma Lock)

Asuka pops up on the Titantron and says she'll see Emma in London.


- Bayley is backstage, where she says she'll face Nia Jax in London if she wants. Nia Jax walks by and looks at Bayley, before attacking Bayley.

Samoa Joe vs. Tommaso Ciampa

Joe starts out by working over Ciampa's arm, Ciampa forearms his way out, but Joe socks him in the face. Ciampa slaps Joe, which leads to a smack war. Ciampa is able to stomp the arm of Joe and follow up with a single-arm DDT. Ciampa hits a roaring elbow and applies a guillotine, then a double wristlock before Joe lands a stiff kick in the corner.

Joe connects with a scoop powerslam before missing the facewash on Ciampa. They're beating the hell out of each other. Joe catches Ciampa with an STO, Muscle Buster and Kokina Clutch for the win.
