Cameron On Her WWE Status, Two New WWE Network Markets, Chris Jericho On His WWE RAW Return
- WWE Network announced today that the service is available in Germany and Japan at just $9.99 per month with no commitment and the ability to cancel any time. Subscribers have access to the US English language version of the WWE Network. WWE Chief Strategy and Financial Officer George Barrios commented on both expansions in separate press releases:
"Japan is strategically important for WWE given our passionate and engaged fan base in the market. The global expansion of WWE Network is critical to the continued growth of our brand internationally."
"Germany is a strategically important market for WWE with a passionate and engaged fan base. We are committed to growing our brand internationally, and global expansion of WWE Network is critical to achieving that goal."
- The Edmonton Sun has an article with Cameron giving fitness and dieting tips. It was noted that Cameron is currently training part-time in WWE NXT after taking "some time to work on myself" in recent months. She commented on her WWE status:
"There's still a lot of things that I would like to accomplish there (in WWE). I didn't like where I was at the time. I wasn't happy. I wanted to have a storyline. I wanted to get better and ... sometimes you have to take a few steps backwards in order to move a few steps forward. So that's what I decided to do. I'm doing that in hopes of coming back bigger and stronger than ever."
- As seen on last night's RAW, Chris Jericho returned to wWE and announced himself for the 30-man Royal Rumble main event. Jericho posted the following on his return:
""Rooty, Tooty, Booty!" Had a blast last night....fooled you all again! Thanks to a great crowd in San Antonio & look out @wwe universe-it's gonna be a WILD RIDE!! #trapqueens #Y2JForever"
