Dana White Reveals CM Punk's Likely First Opponent, Says He's "Holding A Lottery Ticket"
As seen in the video above, UFC President Dana White was on TSN with Michael Landsberg and revealed the plan for CM Punk's first opponent in the UFC.
"I'm bringing Mickey Gall in and he's going to fight a kid named Michael Jackson," White told Landsberg. "They're going to fight on the prelims on February 6th on Fight Pass and if he wins that fight, Mickey Gall will fight CM Punk and CM Punk will be there at the fight to watch."
Gall was recently featured on the original series Looking for a Fight, which features Dana White, former UFC welterweight champion Matt Serra and White's friend Nick "The Tooth" Gullo. White noted that Gall is "holding a lottery ticket with really good odds of winning... He's got to get through this fight, and it's going to be a life changer for this kid."
We reported last week that White was interested in bringing in Gall as an opponent for Punk.
