TNA Impact Wrestling Viewership Update, TNA Working On Locking Talents In, Next Weeks Impact Preview
- Above is a preview for next Tuesday's Impact Wrestling with new TNA World Heavyweight Champion Matt Hardy.
- As noted, Tuesday's TNA Impact Wrestling drew 321,000 viewers, up 12% from last week's 288,000 viewers. According to Showbuzz Daily, the replay drew 122,000 viewers. The final viewership for this week's episode was 443,000 viewers. This is still down 27% from the same time back in January 2015 as the January 23rd show drew 517,000 viewers for the first airing and 86,000 viewers for the replay, making the total 603,000 for that night.
- TNA is currently in the middle of signing wrestlers to new, exclusive deals. The new deals would see the talents get more money and become exclusive TNA talents once again, according to PWInsider. TNA has money to spend on new contracts as they've had international TV deals renew, they have freed up working capital and they're saving money with Kurt Angle's big money deal expiring. As noted, TNA has offered a non-wrestling deal to Angle that would see him work with younger talents and be a face of the company.
