Vince Russo On Brock Lesnar Laying Out Roman Reigns, Why The Bullet Club Won't Get Over In WWE

Vince Russo is often outspoken about the booking direction of WWE, and last week's episode of Nuclear Heat was no exception. On this episode, he took aim at WWE's 50-50 booking.

"Steam on Reigns, build Reigns. They forgot about the whole roster, because they were concentrated on getting Reigns over. They were doing a good job. I didn't like them ignoring the rest of the roster, but they did a good job of getting Reigns over," Russo said.

Russo then turned his focus to the Reigns-Lesnar segment that closed the show. Lesnar dropped Reigns with an F5 after the main event match.

"What is the first thing Lesnar does? He drops Roman Reigns with an F5. One guy, dead in the middle of the ring. You built him for weeks, and you don't have him at the level where Brock Lesnar can drop him with an F5, because Brock Lesnar is already over. Some people are going to cheer Lesnar doing that," Russo said.

Russo said that Reigns needs to be on the hunt for Brock Lesnar on tonight's Raw in order to maintain consistency.

Russo also spoke about the Bullet Club and Shinsuke Nakamura making the move to WWE, and how he feels they'll do after the transition from NJPW.

"They can't get guys on their own roster over. You think these guys from New Japan are going to walk in and be over? You can't get over on wrestling matches alone. Some of the greatest ring technicians in the business never got over, because they were missing the character."
