Vince Russo Responds To JBL Saying He'd Like An Interview, More

The war of words between former WWE, WCW and TNA writer Vince Russo and current WWE color commentator John Bradshaw Layfield hasn't been the most heated of exchanges, but it's possible we could see that in the near future.

The two have went back and forth ever since JBL interviewed Eric Bischoff for his Legends with JBL series that airs on the WWE Network. JBL said that he's proud of the interview he conducted with Bischoff, and that he believed Bischoff's criticism of Russo and felt that Bischoff was being honest.

Weeks ago, Russo noted that only one side of the story was told, and that he'd like a fair opportunity to share his end of things. JBL said that he'd be honored to have Russo on his show in an effort to get both sides of the issue. After weeks of fans tweeting each of the two, both spoke about it on Twitter.

Russo, who also issued the statement to WrestlingInc.com, said that he would love to do an interview, and would donate any compensation to JBL's charity. Ultimately, Russo and JBL both agreed that it was up to the WWE to make it happen.

If it were to happen, it wouldn't be the first time that Vince Russo has appeared on the WWE Network. Russo participated in the 20-part series of the "Monday Night War," something the aforementioned Bischoff did not appear on, outside of archived interview footage.
