WWE Referee Explains Average Workload, Alberto Del Rio Injury Note, King Barrett - Samoa Joe

- As noted, the WWE 2K16 Future Stars DLC was released this past week with Samoa Joe, Los Matadores, Blake and Murphy. WWE Games posted this video with King Barrett threatening Samoa Joe with a Bullhammer.

- It was noted on Wrestling Observer Live by Bryan Alvarez that the injury that Alberto Del Rio is suffering from may be a neck injury. The original reports said Del Rio was suffering from a back injury, apparently from taking a Brock Lesnar suplex in the WWE Royal Rumble main event. We should know more after Del Rio is evaluated by doctors at Monday's RAW in Alabama.

- Mike Mooneyham of The Post & Courier has a really good article out on veteran WWE referee Charles Robinson, who is one of the last remaining WCW employees. Robinson has been with WWE since July 2001 and says he would like to spend another 10-15 years with the company. Robinson stays in shape by running Spartan races, noting that he's competing for jobs with other referees that are sometimes half his age, and said he's usually one of the first to enter the venue the morning of a show, and one of the last to leave that night:

"I fly in the day before. I go into the arena early. I unload the truck, help build the ring, lights go up, put up the barricade and padding around the ring, set up backstage monitors in dressing rooms, do the show, tear it all down, load the truck. If it's a house show, we normally have a bus to take us to the next town. But if it's TV, we have to drive ourselves."
