Cesaro Talks Daniel Bryan's Retirement, WWE Return, Injuries Plaguing WWE, His Career Highlight
- As noted, Cesaro is currently in Dubai doing promotional work for WWE. In the video above, he talks with Myles Galloway about several different topics. Below are highlights:
* He doesn't think WWE comes to the Middle East enough and he hopes it becomes a yearly thing
* Cesaro called the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal win his career highlight, because of the sheer magnitude. It was his first WrestleMania and he had his moment. He wants to create more WrestleMania Moments but no one can ever take that away from him
* When asked about the injuries, Cesaro said it's just a bad time. He said the injuries also make things exciting because new people can step up and that's what WWE needs sometimes, for things to be shaken up
* Cesaro said he's known Daniel Bryan for a long time and the retirement hit Cesaro hard and made him sad. Cesaro said it was very hard for him to watch because he misses Bryan. He's happy because Bryan got to experience what he did and go out the way he wanted to, on his own terms. Cesaro talks about how it's "sink or swim" for the new talents given a shot due to the injuries
* Cesaro says it's "up in the stars" as far as when Tyson Kidd will return. They will always be brothers but he's looking to get back to where he was when he comes back, and re-join the Cesaro Section. Cesaro mentioned how WWE hasn't reacted to the Cesaro Section and he would appreciate a t-shirt or something for fans to support. He talked about how the movement grew organically with just a sign. It proved to him that what he believes in is true, that hard work and wrestling matters and that resonates with fans
