- Carmella and Bayley are really friendly in their backstage interview, they say 'may the best woman win,' and shake hands.
Alexa Bliss (w/ Blake & Murphy) vs. Cameron
Cameron botches a clothesline, then does a weird splits dropkick. Bliss comes back by brawling with Cameron, slamming her face into the mat and walking on her, while stomping on her face. Cameron scores a neckbreaker, but Alexa slams her face into the mat. Moonsault double knees and a Sparkle Splash for the pin.
Winner: Alexa Bliss via pinfall (Sparkle Splash)
- Enzo and Cass are backstage and tell Dash and Dawson they're even going to have a better year than last year. American Alpha interrupt and confusingly say their year will be better. The banter is great. They'll team up against Blake, Murphy, Dash and Dawson next week.
Elias Samson vs. Jessy Sorensen
Samson utilizes some boring but effective knee-based offense before a big elbow drop. The crowd starts a "drift away" chant. Elias Samson wins easily with a short-arm neckbreaker.

- Apollo Crews is backstage and says he doesn't regret challenging Balor, but the next time he's in the ring, you'll see a new Apollo Crews.
NXT Women's Championship
Bayley (c) vs. Carmella
Bayley applies an armbar, then uses a drop toe hold to go into a headlock before doing the second rope arm drag. Carmella does an atomic drop, then a double dropkick causes a stalemate.Bayley scores with a running clothesline in the corner, a seated clothesline and a knee drop as we go to a commercial break.
Carmella has a brief hope spot, but Bayley clotheslines her. Bayley hits the inflatable elbows and a powerslam for two. She goes up top, but Carmella knocks her to the outside, which was a pretty nasty spill. Carmella hits two really awesome suicide dives that get the crowd chanting for her. Bayley kicks out of three pin attempts. Carmella goes for her submission, but its leads to a pin chain that gets reversed about five times. Bayley pins Carmella. Fun match.
Winner: Bayley via pinfall to retain the NXT Women's Championship
Bayley and Carmella embrace. That was a really good match. Carmella's best thus far. Eva Marie and Nia Jax attack Baymella, and Asuka makes the save. A ton of heat all over for everyone involved. Incredible. Asuka smiles at Bayley and eyes the title.
- Samoa Joe is backstage and he says that he saved Zayn's career and life, and next week he's going to take that away.
