WWE SmackDown Recap (2/25): Triple H Appears, New Day, Y2AJ, Show Vs. Owens, Becky Lynch, More

- Triple H comes out and says "Sympathy for the Devil" could have been wrote about him. Not coincidentally, Motorhead recorded a version of the song FOR Triple H. They show a video of HHH beating the hell out of Reigns on Monday. He cuts a long promo where he shows off the blood on his wrist tape, and hypes the WrestleMania main event.

Lucha Dragons, Neville & Dolph Ziggler vs. League Of Nations

Wade Barrett is actually wrestling for the first time in months. League of Nations take control and clear the ring as we go to a commercial break. We come back to see Rusev dominating his former rival in Dolph Ziggler. Sheamus hits a suplex slam and knocks Sin Cara off the apron, but Ziggler hits a superkick when Sheamus taunts.

Neville gets a hot tag and takes out Barrett and Del Rio. Neville hits a 450 on Barrett while jumping over Sheamus, then hits a Red Arrow, but gets superkicked by ADR, who gets kicked by Ziggler. Sheamus pins Neville after a Brogue Kick. This was fun.

Winners: League of Nations via pinfall (Brogue Kick)

- Kevin Owens is shown talking to Renee Young, and he says Dean Ambrose's heart on Monday should be rewarded. He says that because of that, he offers Ambrose his title rematch. Young says that Ambrose isn't there, and Owens says that he gets the night off. Big Show shows up, and Owens says he's on the road to WrestleMania, and Show is on the road to retirement. Big Show gets pissed and threatens Owens, and says they have a match later.

- The Dudley Boyz get on the mic and say they'll do whatever it takes to remind people they're the best team in wrestling. They tell the fans to shove it.

D-Von Dudley (w/ Bubba Ray Dudley) vs. Jimmy Uso (w/ Jey Uso)

Bubba Ray pulls out a table to distract Jey Uso, then knocks Jimmy off the top rope. D-Von schoolboys Jimmy for the win.

Winner: D-Von Dudley via pinfall

- Jericho talks about him and Styles having good chemistry as a team. Styles says that he wants a WrestleMania moment, and they'll need someone to help them take on all three of the New Day tonight to put themselves in position. Mark Henry pops up and offers himself up because the New Day thinks they're funny.

Kevin Owens vs. Big Show

Owens chops Show down with some kicks, but Show chops Owens, sending him out of the ring. Owens walks right into a chokeslam and rolls outside. Big Show goes up top but gets crotched and gets counted out.

Winner: Kevin Owens via countout

Show runs Owens off after the match.

Natalya vs. Becky Lynch

Natalya shoulder blocks and goes for a pin, but Lynch beautifully bridges out. The two go back and forth until Natalya German suplexes Becky Lynch. Team BAD come out and attack Natayla, causing a DQ.

Winner: Natalya via DQ

Team BAD attack Lynch, and Sasha makes the save. Charlotte and Ric Flair.

Heath Slater (w/ Social Outcasts) vs. R-Truth

Goldust comes out, but says he'll sit in a neutral corner. Slater connects with a big knee. Truth comes back with a leg lariat and a front suplex. Goldust punches Slater and and Truth gets the backslide for the win.

Winner: R-Truth via pinfall

- We get a recap of the Ambrose/Lesnar feud.

- New Day make fun of the League of Nations, as well as Mark Henry for still thinking he's the World's Strongest Man.

New Day vs. Y2AJ & Mark Henry

Big E runs over Jericho, but Mark Henry comes in and flattens all of New Day. The babyfaces mock the New Day as we go to a commercial break. We come back to see Xavier double teamed by a double back elbow from Y2AJ. They isolate Xavier Woods in their corner and punish him before Jericho hits Kofi with a triangle dropkick.

Big E lands a cheap shot on Jericho and Snake Eyes' Jericho into the boots of Kofi and Xavier. They play the trombone and dance, before dropkicking Jericho, setting up the legdrop/splash combo for two until AJ Styles breaks up the count. Jericho escapes from Big E's shoulders and hits an enziguri.

Styles gets the hot tag and forearms the bejesus out of Xavier before his backflip reverse DDT. Henry takes out Big E before eating the Trouble in Paradise, and Jericho sacrifices himself and eats one for AJ. Styles applies the Calf Crusher and Woods taps out.

Winners: Y2AJ & Mark Henry via submission (Calf Crusher)
