Former WWE, NXT, ROH, GFW Female Talents At TNA Tapings
A ton of familiar female names were present at this week's TNA tapings for their One Night Only PPV show. This has become somewhat of a common practice for TNA, to bring in a plethora of somewhat recognizable names to the tapings.
Shelly Martinez, Veda Scott, Leva Bates/Blue Pants, Barbie Hayden, Cherry Bomb, Deonna Purrazzo, Jayme Jameson, Allysin Kay were all shown pictured at the tapings with Maria Kanellis also in the ring, as seen in the photo below.
Shelly Martinez, better known as Ariel, performed for the WWE as the valet of Kevin Thorn in their reboot of ECW. Leva Bates wrestled for NXT sporadically as Blue Pants, before essentially being killed off by Nia Jax on a December episode of WWE NXT.
Ring of Honor personality Veda Scott, who also wrestles for the brand, was also pictured. Barbie Hayden may ring a bell as she caught some flack last year for starting a GoFundMe to help finance her trying to make it in wrestling.
Jayme Jameson is the wife of former TNA star Gunner, who spent several years with the company before being released last year. The 5'10 Allysin Kay has wrestled everywhere, as has Deonna Purrazzo, who has somewhat of an ongoing storyline on NXT. Cherry Bomb has been a regular in Global Force Wrestling over the past year.
