Ken Shamrock And Kimbo Slice Fail Bellator 149 Drug Tests, Shamrock Not Fighting Dan Severn

As if things couldn't get any wilder for the card that was Bellator 149, two of the night's headliners in Kimbo Slice and Ken Shamrock failed drug tests, according to MMAFighting.com.

Bellator has yet to be officially notified of the drug test failures, or what substances that each fighter could have tested positive for.

Shamrock lost a controversial fight to long-time foe Royce Grace after being hit with a low blow. Kimbo Slice, real name Kevin Ferguson was a part of a critically panned but commercially successful fight with Dada 500, which saw Slice earn a third round TKO win.

The fighters are currently under an administrative suspension of 90 days as the commission is in the process of filing a formal complaint against both fighters. Shamrock has admitted to steroid use throughout his MMA and pro wrestling career.

The Kimbo Slice-Dada 5000 fight result has been overturned to a no-contest as well, meaning that Dada 5000's heart technically stopped and he didn't lose the fight.

Shamrock was originally scheduled to face Dan Severn later this month at URFight, but has been replaced by Tank Abbott.
