Linda McMahon Talks To Katie Couric About Donald Trump, Hulk Hogan's Trial, His Possible WWE Return

Former WWE CEO Linda McMahon appeared on Yahoo News Live today to promote WrestleMania and discuss politics alongside Katie Couric.

Linda McMahon was asked about her family's relationship with Donald Trump, who hosted multiple WrestleMania events. Linda said that's how she ended up becoming a friend of Trump's.

"He was a great partner, a wonderful promoter. He really greased the wheels. We got to know him personally. He's very loyal, he's a patriot, he hires smart people around him. He did exactly what he said he would do," Linda said.

Couric then changed the subject over to Donald Trump's latest WrestleMania appearance and the "Battle of the Billionaires."

"You don't think Donald's head was going to get shaved, did you!? Vince says that the tragedy of this was that he's such an ugly bald guy," Linda said.

McMahon said that she wasn't sure if she would endorse Donald Trump, because she wanted to see who has what to offer. She also said that she doesn't think her endorsement would mean a lot, but she would support whoever the GOP candidate was.

Linda said that she also followed parts of the Hulk Hogan – Gawker case.

"I followed it some because he's been a part of WWE for quite some time. I don't think anyone had the right to take that private tape and put it out. I thought Gawker was wrong in doing that. He said some deplorable things, and it cost him his job in WWE," said McMahon.

Linda says she could "never say never" about Hulk Hogan returning to WWE, but ultimately it's up to the WWE, which she didn't return to after her political career.
