- There were some heavy rankings movement this week following UFC 197. Anthony Pettis' loss dropped him four spots to number 7 at lightweight, while Edson Barboza soared past him to #6. Yair Rodriguez cracked the featherweight rankings at #14, and Robert Whittaker passed former UFC Champion Lyoto Machida to get to #6 among middleweights. Also, despite not fighting, Aljamain Sterling moved up to the #4 bantamweight spot past the inactive Raphael Assuncao.

- Donald Cerrone spoke with MMA Junkie recently about Conor McGregor failing to meet media obligations. Cerrone sided with the UFC, saying McGregor was throwing the company's money away.

"They're talking upwards of $8 (million), $9 million dollars he's throwing away," Cerrone said. "I would literally ride a rocket ship to the moon for six months for $10 million to do a press conference."
