Jim Ross Talks Undertaker Being Used As A 'Pawn,' Reviving Cruiserweight Title, ECW On Raw In 1997

Jim Ross posted his latest Q&A at JRsBarBQ.com. Here are some highlights:

If Paul Heyman had a role in how ECW was booked on Raw in 1997:

"As I recall none of the show was produced by Paul but by Vince McMahon as always. It was a standard, fictional storyline."

If Undertaker was a 'pawn' for Vince to beat Shane at WrestleMania:

"I've never perceived Undertaker to be anyone's 'pawn.' It was emergency booking for Shane to face Taker at WM32 and nothing more IMO. I thought WWE did the best that they could considering the hand that they were dealt."

If the Global Cruiserweight Series will revive the Cruiserweight title:

"I like the concept. It would be a way to restart a smaller weight division but only if it would mean more than existing IC & US Titles do at this time."

Much more is contained in Ross' latest Q&A, including his thoughts on the Steiners and much more. You can check out the full entry at this link.
