ROH Announces Two More PPV Events, NJPW Talent To Be Featured On Both, More Information
Ring Of Honor made two big announcements regarding their PPV future today, as they'll be running August and September live PPV events.
It was announced that New Japan Pro Wrestling talents will be returning for both of the PPV events, and will hang around for the television tapings that follows. This will put New Japan talents on ROH TV for a large portion of the year, and all of September and October.
You can see the company's full statement below. One of the more interesting points is that ROH will not have a presence in New York during Summerslam weekend, instead opting to run their own PPV in Las Vegas
Ring of Honor officials are excited to announce the return of the stars of New Japan Pro-Wrestling to the United States for two HUGE weekends of Pay Per View events and National Television Tapings, including ROH's return to Las Vegas, and long awaited return to the BOSTON area at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium!
Fans traveled from around the globe to see Ring of Honor and New Japan stars clash in Sin City at 14th Anniversary and because of the overwhelming fan response, ROH and NJPW are proud to announce that one of ROH's DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR weekend will kick off live on pay per view from Sam's Town Live in Las Vegas, NV on Friday August 19 , followed by a National TV Taping on Saturday, August 20!
The Best Professional Wrestling on the Planet then will make its triumphant return to the Boston area for ALL STAR EXTRAVAGANZA VIII, which will air live on pay per view on Friday September 30 , followed with a National TV Taping on Saturday October 1!
Boston is ripe with wrestling history, with names like Killer Kowalski , Bruno Samartino, Gorilla Monsoon, and George Steele jumping from the record books of the Boston Garden. Classic battles in Boston in the formative years of ROH featuring The Briscoes, Christopher Daniels, Colt Cabana, Bryan Danielson, CM Punk, and Samoa Joe, helped lay the foundation of the company. For the VERY FIRST TIME, the stars of New Japan will be competing IN BOSTON adding to what already what is anticipated to be a wild night in ROH's FIRST card in Boston in nearly FIVE YEARS!

Death Before Dishonor Tickets in Las Vegas will go on sale for Ringside Members beginning Wednesday, April 13 at 10 AM EST, while tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 15 at 10 AM EST.
