What WrestleMania 32 Role Did Batista Turn Down?, More On Batista In "Blade Runner 2"
- We reported earlier this week that Batista will star in the upcoming Blade Runner 2 movie. CinemanBlend reports that while Warner Bros. officially announced his casting this week, they did not reveal his role. They did say that he would be playing an "important supporting role."
As noted, Batista also has a cameo in the Melissa McCarthy comedy, The Boss, which opens tomorrow. You can check him out in the trailer above at the 0:19 mark as a Boy Scout leader who is punched several times in the groin by McCarthy's character. He is also currently filming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

- Speaking of Batista, Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that Batista turned down a spot in the legends segment featuring Steve Austin, Mick Foley and Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 32 last Sunday. While Batista was offered the spot by Vince McMahon, it was noted that he was never offered a role to be a special referee on the show.
