Moose Talks His ROH Contract, Working With Okada, Who Set The Tone On The Patriots, More

ROH star Moose recently spoke with Sports Illustrated ahead of this weekend's big ROH/NJPW Global Wars PPV. Be sure to join Wrestling Inc. on Sunday for full, live coverage of the show. You can see highlights of Moose's interview below, and the full story at this link.

Working with Okada:

"Okada is my favorite wrestler, so when I found out I was working with him, I thought [manager Stokely Hathaway] was ribbing me. But the boys kept coming up to me saying, 'I heard you're working Okada.' It was surreal. Then the booker told me, 'It's you and Okada next month at the pay per view,' and it was like a dream come true to wrestle the guy I consider to be the best wrestler in the world."

When asked about WWE:

"I can't talk about WWE. I'm happy with Ring of Honor. My contract is coming up in June, but until then, I'm happy here and we'll see what happens."

Who his leaders were in the NFL:

"The guy who set the tone when I was there was Rob Gronkowski. He was a rookie, but he always had that 'It Factor.' He had the ability to make the block to set the tone, or make the catch to get everybody hyped up to keep playing. Obviously Tom Brady was the mental leader, but physically it was Rob Gronkowski."

Moose goes on to talk about his wrestling training and much more in the full story from Sports Illustrated.
