Round 3: Baberena's coach reminds him that he's in Brazil and needs to finish. Barberena slips on a kick attempt and gets pushed against the cage. Bryan lands a couple of elbows, but eats a couple of big knees from Alves. Both men trade strikes, and have really good exchanges. Alves misses on a wheel kick and eats about ten punches. Alves and Barberena open up to close the fight.
Wrestling Inc scores the round 10-9 for Bryan Barberena, making it 29-28 Barberena
Official Result: Bryan Barberena defeated Warlley Alves via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)
Bryan Barberena scores another huge upset. That's two big wins for him. X-Gym fighters continue to have terrible cardio.
Mauricio "Shogun" Rua (#8) vs. Corey Anderson (#12)
Round 1: Anderson scores a nice combo to open the fight while Shogun feels him out with leg kicks. Shogun tries to clinch, but eats a body kick and blocks a combo. He catches Anderson with a right hook as Anderson jumps in, but Anderson gets a hook of his own. Shogun and Anderson trade in the middle of the cage. Anderson connected with a couple of punches, and Shogun with a body kick. Shogun drops Anderson with punches, but Anderson is saved by the bell!
Wrestling Inc scores that round 10-9 Shogun Rua
Round 2: Both men slug it out, with Andeson landing a hook combo and a spin kick before taking Shogun down. Anderson essentially lets Shogun up and presses him up against the cage. After a couple of minutes Shogun gets free, but is taken down again. Shogun gets right back up, and drops Anderson with a punch/slip again.
Wrestling Inc scores the round 10-9 for Corey Anderson
Round 3: Anderson takes Shogun down and pounds away. Shogun gets up with about 2:15 left, and is pressed against the cage and taken down. Shogun won't stay down, but is getting controlled. Time expires after a one-sided round.

Official Result: Mauricio "Shogun" Rua (#8) defeated Corey Anderson (#12) via split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28)
Shogun got the benefit of some home cooking there.
- Antonio Rodrigo Noguiera announced as the newest UFC Hall of Fame inductee in the pioneer.
Cris 'Cyborg' Justino (Invicta FW Champ) vs. Leslie Smith
Round 1: Cyborg paws at Smith with accuracy early. A body kick and hooks land and drop Smith. Cyborg follows up with ground and pound as the ref stops it. Smith isn't happy.
Official Result: Cris 'Cyborg' Justino defeated Leslie Smith via TKO, 1:21 of Round 1
Cyborg needs to make 135. She had a giant size advantage. There are at least three big fights for her at 135, but she says she'd like to keep defending her Invicta Featherweight Championship and do UFC catchweight fights.
Jacare Souza (#2) vs. Vitor Belfort (#3)
Round 1: Vitor misses a flying knee right out of the gate and is pushed against the cage, but circles out. Jacare scores a ankle pick and throws elbows to Vitor that bust him open. The ref has the fight paused for a doctor to check the cut. Vitor manages to get out and to his feet when action resumes, but eats punches. Vitor pulls guard and lands upkicks, but gets pounded. Jacare mounts Vitor and pounds away. The ref mercifully steps in.
Official Result: Jacare Souza (#2) defeated Vitor Belfort (#3) via TKO (strikes), Round 1, 4:38
Vitor Belfort is done at the top levels of MMA. He was dominated, Sharkeisha'd. I'm not sure if he even landed a strike in the fight.
UFC Heavyweight Championship
Fabricio Werdum (c) vs. Stipe Miocic (#2)
Round 1: Miocic lands a couple of punches, but Werdum cracks him with kicks. Miocic gets two jabs and a leg kick of his own, only to be answered by a punch up the middle from Werdum. Fabricio goes for a half-hearted single leg takedown that quickly gets shut down. Werdum is able to throw a few strikes, but gets caught with a big right hand when he overextends and is knocked out cold!! New Champion!
Official Result: Stipe Miocic (#2) defeated Fabricio Werdum (c) via KO, Round 1, 2:47 to become the UFC Heavyweight Champion
Horrible game plan for Werdum. Crossing his feet, chasing a UFC Heavyweight. He paid the price. The Miz, EC3 and Stipe Miocic have now brought championships to Cleveland before LeBron James.
