Backstage Notes On TNA Contracts And Top Stars Re-Signing, TNA Employee Suffers Heart Attack, More
- TNA talents have been told about another set of TV tapings at Universal Studios from Thursday, August 11th through Sunday, August 14th but those dates are not confirmed. The next set of dates have been confirmed for July 12th through July 14th with a semi-live episode on Tuesday the 12th.
- We've noted how Abyss, Rosemary, Rockstar Spud, Al Snow, Trevor Lee, DJ Zema Ion and Chelsea Green have all signed new TNA deals recently. These are exclusive in that TNA controls all of their bookings and will be booking them out to other indie companies, according to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
- The most recent set of tapings ended without top stars Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, Drew Galloway and Ethan Carter III signing the new contracts. All four are still under contract, so there's no issue there, but they're still signed to the old deals and there was an attempt by TNA officials to get them all signed to the new deals at the tapings.
- TNA's Ring Transportation Manager Bob Rosen suffered a heart attack at the last set of TV tapings. Rosen was feeling bad at the tapings, taken to a local hospital and then diagnosed as having a heart attack with a very dangerous 99% blockage of his heart.
