- As noted, CM Punk revealed that he will make his UFC debut against Mickey Gall at UFC 203 on September 10, nearly two years after his UFC signing was announced. UFC 203 is scheduled to take place at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, OH, which C-NET points out is the same arena that Punk left WWE after a heated exchange with Vince McMahon and Triple H. Punk has not been to a WWE event since.

- WWE will return to the Bryce Jordan Center in University Park, PA on Sunday, September 25 at 1 p.m. It has not been revealed if it will be a SmackDown event or a RAW brand show. While the card is always subject to change, the stars currently advertised for the show include Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, WWE Women's Champion Charlotte, WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day, WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz, Kevin Owens, Cesaro, Kalisto, The Usos, and Becky Lynch.
