Jeff Hardy Wants To End Career Headlining WrestleMania, Talks Wanting To Top Shane McMahon

Sports Illustrated interviewed Jeff Hardy ahead of Sunday's TNA Slammiversary pay-per-view. Below are some highlights:

Wanting to top Shane McMahon's WrestleMania spot:

"Watching Shane, I knew I could top that. Every time I watched Shane, I was inspired to do something better.

"I'm planning something big for Sunday. I'll take my own path and do it my own way."

His career coming to an end:

"I know I'm getting close to the end. I can feel my body telling me something. I don't know how much longer I've got, and naturally I would love to end with a WrestleMania and I would love to have a Hell in a Cell. That's something I've always wanted to do, and I've always wanted to headline 'Mania."

Hardy also discussed Matt's new "broken" character and watching "too much TV," his goals for Slammiversary, his dirt bike accident last year and more. You can read the full interview by clicking here.
