- As noted yesterday, WWE invited Tim Wiese, the 6-foot-4 former German national goalkeeper, to join the WWE Performance Center for an extended training period. Wiese joining WWE has received a significant amount of international media, including stories at ESPN FC, The Sun, Daily Mail and Sky Sports.
Wiese has expressed interest in signing with WWE in the past, and served as a special timekeeper at a WWE live event in November of 2014 in Germany. WWE had actually made an offer to Wiese a couple of months before that appearance in September of 2014. You can check out a photo of Wiese below:
