Triple H Sends WWE Title To The Pittsburgh Penguins, WWE Swerved Video, SmackDown Twitter Ratings
- Above is a clip from tonight's new episode of WWE Swerved on the WWE Network.
- Thursday's WWE SmackDown ranked #1 among series & specials for the night in Nielsen's Twitter TV ratings. As noted, Nielsen recently confirmed to us that they have changed the way Twitter ratings are being released as Unique Audience will no longer be included. The weekly lists will now include and be ranked by tweet volume. SmackDown had 40,000 tweets with 15,000 unique authors. This down from the May 26th episode, which had 41,000 tweets and 12,000 authors.
- As seen below, Triple H is sending a replica WWE World Heavyweight Title belt to the NHL Champion Pittsburgh Penguins. The Penguins have been in the news here on the site lately for the Penguins "HBK line," which is comprised of Penguins players Carl Hagelin, Nick Bonino and Phil Kessel. Shawn Michaels was invited to a Penguins game, and even introduced the team last month.
