WWE Binge Releasing Series For First Time, Rock - "Big Trouble In Little China" News, Damien Sandow
- As noted, the second season of Swerved will premiere this Monday, June 6th on the WWE Network immediately following Monday Night RAW. WWE will actually premiere all nine half hour long episodes on-demand this Monday, which is the first time WWE Network will do a binge release for a show on-demand.
- It was reported almost exactly a year ago that The Rock had signed on to star in the remake of 1980's cult-classic, Big Trouble In Little China. The Rock was set to play the lead role of truck driver Jack Burton, which was originally played by Kurt Russell. Things have been pretty quiet about the remake since the announcement was made, however The Rock revealed in a recent interview with Fandango (the movie site, not the wrestler) that the project was still happening.
"That's happening, man!" The Rock said. "That's happening, that's happening. And again, that's one of those things where you gotta take really good care of it."
- Damien Sandow will be in action at MCW's "Jimmy's Seafood Slamboree" on Friday, June 10 at the MCW Arena, 1000 Joppa Farm Rd in Joppa, MD and again on Saturday, June 18 at Regency Furniture Stadium, 11765 St. Linus Dr in Waldorf, MD for "Base Brawl". Sponsored by Jimmy's Famous Seafood, "Jimmy's Seafood Slamboree" features live action and a meet and greet with Sandow, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash and more.
