Dana White's Speech At RNC (Video), UFC On FOX 21 Main Event Set, Next TUF Fighters Announced

- UFC president Dana White was the featured speaker during the second day of the Republican National Convention on Tuesday night, stumping for Donald Trump, the presumptive nominee for the next President of the United States of America.

White admitted that he is not a politician during his four-minute speech and never mentioned Hillary Clinton, but did say that "I am a fight promoter but I was blown away and honored to be invited here and I wanted to show up and tell you about my friend, Donald Trump."

The two, White said, first became partners in 2001 when he was part of the group that purchased the UFC along with Frank and Lorenzo Fertitta. They have since sold the promotion to WME|IMG.

"Donald was the first guy that recognized the potential that we saw in the UFC and encouraged us to build our business," White said. "He dealt with us personally and he got in the trenches with us and he made a deal that worked for everyone."

- The main event of UFC on FOX 21 from Vancouver was announced Tuesday night, as Carlos Condit takes on Demian Maia. The welterweight contenders were originally booked for UFC 202 on August 20, but they will now headline the event a week later.

Condit (30-8) is a former interim UFC welterweight champion and WEC champion. He is returning to action for the first time since a split decision loss to current titleholder Robbie Lawler. Maia (23-6) competed for the UFC middleweight title before switching weight classes and finding success in wins over Matt Brown, Neil Magny and Ryan LaFlare.

UFC on FOX 21 also includes Anthony Pettis-Charles Oliveira, Paige VanZant-Bec Rawlings and Jim Miller-Joe Lauzon.

- Sixteen flyweight champions from various promotions will comprise the roster for The Ultimate Fighter 24, with the winner earning a shot at UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson. Former title contenders Joseph Benavidez and Henry Cejudo are the coaches for the season, which debuts August 31 on FOX Sports 1.

Among those set to compete include former UFC fighter and current Titan FC champion Tim Elliott, Legacy FC titleholder Damacio Page and Resurrection Fighting Alliance champ Alexandre Pantoja.
