- A report started circulating late Thursday afternoon that Anderson Silva would be the fighter to meet Daniel Cormier Saturday night at UFC 200. The rumor was first reported by Combate out of Brazil, but has since been denied by UFC officials.

UFC president Dana White stated in several interviews Thursday that the promotion has fighters lined up to meet Cormier, both for the light heavyweight title and in a non-title affair. Cormier was scheduled to meet Jon Jones in the main event, but Jones was removed from the card due to a possible USADA anti-doping violation.

- An executive with GAT Nutrition, a sponsor for Jon Jones, denied that the substance in question in the failed drug test for Jones was from the company.

"Nothing Jon is using from GAT contains anything that is banned," GAT Nutrition Vice President Mark Post said in an interview with MMAjunkie. "We do extensive third-party testing, and we know he has been tested (with no positives for performance-enhancing drugs) several times. Everything has come up clear. We have no idea what has changed in what he has taken over the last month. We don't live with Jon and don't even know what the banned substance is."

Post added that Jones has taken two supplements – PMP Pre-Workout and an amino acid – that were both sent out to a quality insurance lab before being distributed.

"We have had no issues with any of our products," Post said. "That's what makes me question what (the banned substance) is. We don't take chances with our athletes."

Jones plans to fight the results and has already sent a "B" sample to a lab in Salt Lake City to be tested.
