Fan Gets Ringside Tickets After John Cena Removed From Show, Triple H Praises Cena, WWE In Abilene

- NBC10 in Philadelphia ran the story above about pro wrestling superfan Shawn Brown, who bought tickets to a WWE event in March because Daniel Bryan was advertised, only for Bryan to be removed from the show. As we reported in March, the event was billed as Daniel Bryan Appreciation Night, however it was "postponed" after Bryan asked for time off. Brown contacted WWE and told them that he only bought the tickets to see Bryan. Even though WWE always mentions that the card is subject to change, they sent him two free tickets as a goodwill gesture.

Months later, Brown bought tickets for a show headlined by John Cena, only for the lineup to be changed with Cena being removed.

"I feel like they change these cards like you change your shoes," Brown noted.

Brown contacted NBC10, who got in touch with WWE, who sent him three ringside tickets. It was noted at the end of the piece that wrestling cards change frequently, often due to injury.

- WWE will return to Abilene, Texas at the Taylor County Expo Center on Friday, August 26th. Tickets go on sale this Friday, July 15th at 10am.

- As noted, John Cena will be hosting the ESPYs this Wednesday. Triple H commented on the feat, writing on Twitter:
