Time for the pay-per-view!

Main Card on Pay-Per-View at 10:00 p.m. ET:

Flyweights: Ryan Benoit vs. Fredy Serrano

Round 1: After some exchanges, a huge takedown by Serrano. Benoit drops Serrano, grabs a guillotine, gets slammed, and holds on since Serrano isn't working a Von Flue choke. Nice low kick by Benoit and then they slow down a bit. Benoit tags him again, horn goes, and he throws super late. Serrano shoves him back. WrestlingINC scores it 10-9 for Benoit since he landed the harder shots.

Round 2: Less happening this round, though Serrano is winging shots when he throws. He got Benoit down briefly but did nothing with it. Serrano tries a spin Serrano is basically kneeing Benoit in the head from north/south. Huh. 10-9 Benoit but I could see the scores being all over the place.

Round 3: Serrano got Benoit down but Benoit is the only one generating effective offense. Serrano did a somersault. Yeah. On replay Serrano actually landed some of his wacky kicks but they didn't appear to phase Benoit. 30-27 Benoit?I think?

Official Decision: Ryan Benoit defeated Fredy Serrano by split decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-29)

Bantamweights: Francisco Rivera vs. Erik Perez

Round 1: Rivera is already catching Perez with left hooks. Perez seems slightly rusty and isn't landing much. WrestlingINC goes 10-9 Rivera for the clean hooks. Not quite the expected fireworks yet.

Round 2: Perez kind of sticking and moving here, doing a good job avoiding Rivera's power. He cuts Rivera with a nice spinning elbow and hurts him with a low kick. Much slower than expected but nice work from Perez. 10-9 Perez.

Round 3: They open with a ridiculous brawl for 15 seconds, Rivera throws so hard he falls down, Perez gets on top, and slowly beats at him from top position for almost the entire duration of the fight. Clear 29-28 for Perez.

Official Decision: Erik Perez defeated Francisco Rivera by unanimous decision (30-26, 30-26, 29-28)

Not sure about Perez getting that first round, but I can understand the 10-8 in the third.

Welterweights: Matt Brown (#9) vs. Jake Ellenberger

Round 1: Jake drops him immediately with a right and seems to gas trying to finish. Brown stalks, it seems like he has Ellenberger's number. JAKE DROPS HIM WITH A LIVER KICK AND FINISHES HIM. Brown just completely stopped defending. Wow. Eilenberger's best performance in years. Going back to Kings MMA and whatever other changes he made were not just for show.

Official Decision: Jake Ellenberger defeated Matt Brown by TKO at 1:46 of Round 1 (Liver kick and punches)

Strawweights: Rose Namajunas (#3) vs. Karolina Kowalkiewicz (#5)

Kowalkiewicz has the best entrance music of the night so far in the form of Iggy Pop's "The Passenger."

Round 1: Good movement by Rose, she's stifling Karolina a bit and landing hard shots?but then things turn around and the tide turns. Karolina unloads a bit in the clinch and counters a head an arm throw with a back take. She's mounted right as the round ends. Close, but those shots inside seemed to rock Namajunas, so 10-9 Karolina.

Round 2: KK owning the clinch, Rose winning at range. So far neither seems to have clearly rocked the other?but now Rose looks like she's tiring from KK's knees to the body. Great knee to the body and short elbow from KK. 10-9 Karolina, she should be up 20-18 or at worse tied.

Round 3: More of the same. Rose staying outside and being pretty tentative now. KK stuffs a takedown and appears to rock Rose with a clinch uppercut against the cage?but now she's in Rose's guard, which is a tad risky. Rose is going for armbars and leglocks but getting pounded. They get up and exchange at the bell. Should be 30-27 Karolina, really good fight.

Official Decision: Karolina Kowalkiewicz defeated Rose Namajunas by split decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-29)

Not sure how you give Namajunas two rounds, but it looks like the UFC has a huge main event for whenever they return to Poland.

UFC Welterweight Championship: Robbie Lawler (c) vs. Tyron Woodley (#4)

Round 1: Woodley throws hard about 50 seconds in, eats a knee to the body, they clinch?and Tan Dan separates them WAY too fast. Woodley throws an overhand right, Lawler falls over like a tree, Woodley follows up, and it's over. Wow. We all knew it could happen, but Lawler was the "smart" pick. Woodley breaks down crying in the cage.

Official Decision: Tyron Woodley defeated Robbie Lawler by knockout to win the UFC Welterweight Championship 2:12 of Round 1 (Punches)

Tyron Woodley is the first fighter (second overall) to finish Robbie Lawler with strikes since Nick Diaz at UFC 47 on April 2, 2004. Woodley gives a classy post-fight interview, as does Lawler.
