WWE Changed Cesaro Draft Plans?, Video Of Cesaro's Draft Rant, Sasha Banks Responds

We first reported last weekend about the top stars on the touring groups following the WWE Draft, which you can read here. Tour 1 obviously ended up being SmackDown, while Tour 2 is RAW. While pretty much all the names that we reported fell in line with the Draft picks from last night, there were a few exceptions: Cesaro and Enzo & Cass. All three were originally set to be on the SmackDown tour.

WWE posted the video above of Cesaro before last night's draft, clearly stating that he wanted to be on SmackDown. Cesaro cited Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon saying that SmackDown will focus on wrestling and the talent, and called RAW "the bad guy show." Later that night, Cesaro was pinned cleanly by Chris Jericho and was the #28 draft pick, chosen by Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley for RAW.

As Robert Kojder noted here on Wrestling Inc. earlier this morning, Cesaro seemed legitimately upset with his standing in the draft and for being on RAW during an interview with JoJo on the WWE Network.

"Just looking at the rosters and what the GMs talked about yesterday how SmackDown is going to be the wrestling show and all about in-ring product and all about the Superstars and not necessarily about the GMs and that whole drama, I feel like I probably would have been a better fit for SmackDown," Cesaro said. "But just like in my career so far here, there's always a little stumble block or whatever that I have to overcome, so, um... I'm looking forward to being on the flagship product... trying to see the positive, being on the flagship product, WWE Raw, that's where Cesaro belongs."

Cesaro was then asked about how Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley would co-exist, and Cesaro bluntly responded that he didn't care and that was part of the problem.

"I think Raw going forward needs to be about the Superstars, it needs to be about the performers in the ring and not about how Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley co-exist," Cesaro said. "They need to be there to mediate and make the best show, but that does not need to be the focus. So, the focus should be on the Superstar who got drafted. We have Seth Rollins, we have New Day, we have Finn Bálor coming up from NXT – those are the people we should be here talking about. But we're talking about Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley which is annoying to me."

WWE uploaded Cesaro's promo to their YouTube channel, which you can watch below:

WWE also had the wrong data appear for Cesaro during the interview, which read:

Cesaro
Height : 6"3'
Weight : 280 lbs
WWE Debut : 1999
9-time tag team champion
Drafted to RAW

Sasha Banks replied to Cesaro's interview, posting:
